Which trip, and when

The island trips depend on the season. The Similan and Surin Islands are marine national parks that close roughly from 15 May to 15 October, so boat tours to them only run from mid-October to mid-May. Khao Sok, cooking classes and most mainland trips run all year, which makes them the choice for a wet-season stay.
